Maui Jim Intercollegiate: Auburn goes wire-to-wire and back to back

The Auburn Tigers Men's Golf team can now relax and hit the waves.
Because they are the back-to-back Maui Jim Intercollegiate Champions.
The Tigers shot a team score of 56-under to win the Intercollegiate at Mirabel Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., by 11 shots over Fresno State. Fresno State shot a team score of 45-under.
Auburn shot a final round 269 in the final round.
San Diego State finished in solo third place at 43-under, and Ohio State finished in solo fourth place at 37-under. SMU finished in solo fifth place at 32-under.
In the individual competition, Justin Hastings of San Diego State started off strong with a 9-under 62 and used that momentum to go wire-to-wire for the win, shooting a three-round total of 18-under.
Hasting's first-round 62 was tied for a school record for the Aztecs and consisted of nine birdies and no bogeys.
Hastings recorded 21 birdies and just three bogeys in the tournament.
Jackson Koivun of Auburn and Joseph Lloyd of Fresno State finished one shot back of Hastings at 17-under. Zach Kingsland of SMU finished in solo fourth place at 16-under, and Matthew Sutherland of Fresno State finished in solo fifth place at 15-under.
