Marquette Intercollegiate: Chattanooga takes the team title

Chattanooga won the team competition at the Marquette Intercollegiate by three shots over California.
Chattanooga finished 11-over as a team, and California finished 14-over to finish in solo second place.
Purdue and Texas A&M finished 15-over to finish tied for third place.
Cincinnati rounded out the top five with a score of 17-over. Host school Marquette finished in solo sixth place at 22-over.
In the Individual competition, Sam Espinosa-Trueba of Chattanooga and Eric Lee of California finished tied for first place at 3-under. Espinosa-Trueba bounced back from a 2-over 74 in the second round with a 4-under 68.
Espinosa-Trueba started his final round 4-under through the first eight holes and played the rest of the round at even par. He shot rounds of 71-74-68 to finish 3-under.

Espinosa-Trueba was up and down throughout the tournament, recording 10 birdies and seven bogeys.
Lee shot rounds 71-70-72 to finish 3-under. He eagled the first hole of the tournament and made a birdie on No. 2, starting his first round 3-under through two holes.
Lee never made par on the first hole, a par-5. He made an eagle in round one, a birdie in round two, and a bogey in round three.
Jamie Montogo of Texas A&M and Sampson Zheng of California finished T3 at 2-under and Herman Sekne of Purdue finished in solo fifth place at 1-under.
