As the players get prepared for the final 18 holes in the U.S. Senior Women's Open at Waverly Country Club in Portland, Ore., amateur Judith Kyrinis of Canada is looking for a top-ten finish.
Kyrinis got off to a rough start, with a double bogey on the par-5 No. 8 and a bogey on No. 10. She bounced back with a birdie on No. 11, and she added two more birdies on the back nine on holes No. 15 and 17 to get her round back to even par.
Kyrinis has progressively improved her score each round, shooting rounds of 74-73-72.
She was excellent off the tee in round three, hitting 12 of 13 fairways, and ranking second in the field. She also hit 14 of 18 greens in regulation and had 32 putts in her round.
She has hit 34 of 39 fairways total for the week, which ranks T4 in the entire field. She will look to continue her solid driving of the ball, and if she can hole a few putts in her final round, she can jump into the top five with a good round.
