Heading into the fifth week of the Elite Amateur Golf Series, Nick Dunlap remains in the top spot with Jackson Van Paris holding steady in second place.

In the most recent event, the Southern Amateur, Dunlap and Van Paris both made the cut, but Dunlap finished T59 and Van Paris finished 55th. With two more events left in the series, it is anyone's to win.

Dunlap has two wins and one top-10 finish so far in three events. He did not play in the Sunnehanna due to the U.S. Open. Van Paris has one win, two top 10's and he did not play in the Trans-Mississippi Amateur.

Kazuma Kobori moves into third place after finishing T7 at the Southern and Neal Shipley moves into fourth place with his T14 finish at the Southern. Shipley has finished runner-up in the Sunnehanna and the Trans-Mississippi.

Luke Clanton falls to fifth place from third after missing the cut at the Southern Amateur.

Let's take a look at the first five events and the results.

Sunnehanna Amateur

Jackson Van Paris started the Elite Amateur Series off strong, taking down rising Ohio State senior Neal Shipley by one shot, recording a total 13-under par while Shipley finished at 12-under par. Shipley had a birdie putt on hole No. 18 to tie Van Paris and force a playoff but the putt rolled just by to give Van Paris the win.

Northeast Amateur

The first of two Nick Dunlap wins, Dunlap needed a two-putt on the final hole to win. However, he only needed one putt as he sank the 20-foot birdie putt to win over Caleb Surratt. Dunlap shot a round of 63 in the second round to propel up to the final group and closed a three-shot deficit entering the final round to Surratt to win by two shots.

North & South Amateur

Nick Dunlap secured his second victory in as many weeks after winning the North & South Amateur at Pinehurst No. 2. Dunlap was 2-down to Karl Vilips when the final match was rain delayed and suspended until the next morning. When the two came back to the course, Dunlap found some renewed energy and played the next seven holes at 3-up over Vilips to win the North & South.

Trans-Mississippi Amateur

Jake Holbrook got his first win of the summer at the Trans-Mississippi while Neal Shipley came up just one shot short once again. Holbrook trailed by five shots with four holes of golf left at the newly renovated layout near downtown Dallas but had birdies on Hole Nos. 15 and 17 while Ohio State rising Senior Shipley suffered a triple bogey six on the par 3 17th hole. On the first playoff hole, Holbrook drained a 30-foot birdie putt to cap off the dramatic victory.

Southern Amateur

Nicholas Gabrelcik shot a final round 8-under 64 to win the event at the Honors Course with a total of 11-under. Dylan Menante finished in solo second place at 10-under and Peter Fountain and Jeffrey Guan finished T3 at 9-under.

Pacific Coast Amateur

The Pacific Coast Amateur Championship will be held July 25-28 in Vancouver, Can., at the Capilano Golf and Country Club.

Western Amateur

The Western Amateur Championship will be held August 1-5 in Glenview, IL., at North Shore Country Club.
