PREVIEW and TV TIMES: The Blessings Collegiate Invitational
The third annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational presented by Tyson Foods tees off on Monday, Oct. 3 and will feature 11 men's and women's teams from around the country.
in addition to the traditional team and individual titles, the BCI crowns a combined team champion and a combined, best-ball champion.
For the third consecutive year, GOLF Channel will be on site at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark. to provide live, three-day coverage from 3-6:30 pm. CT.
The 11-team, mixed field events includes men's and women's teams from Arkansas, California, Central Florida, Clemson, Kansas, Louisville, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, UCLA and UNLV.
Six of the 11 teams sit in the top 15 in the most recent Golfweek rankings. Texas A&M, led by U.S. Amateur champion
Sam Bennett, is the highest ranked men's team in the field, checking in at No. 10, while the Aggie women are ranked second in the nation in the same poll behind Stanford.
Arkansas has dominated this event each of the first two years, winning the combined team and best-ball titles on its home course.

Arkansas swept both
men's and women's team and individual titles last year. Behind medalist
Luke Long, the Razorback men's team finished 18-under to win the men's team title by 13 strokes while the women's squad finished 9-under 855 for the 54-hole event to claim the team title by 19 strokes over second-place UCLA.
Brooke Matthews won her second straight BCI individual title with a 4-under total of 212 (72-66-74), good a four-stroke victory over teammate Cory Lopez and Alessia Nobolio of UCLA, who finished at even-par 216.
