19th Hole Nor Cal GC wins NCGA Associate Club Championship

At the 19th the annual NCGA Associate Club Championship, it was a case of light-hearted name but serious competition. The 19th Hole Nor Cal GC squad won the event at Poppy Hills Golf Course and Spyglass Hill Golf Course by four shots.
The 19th Hole Nor Cal GC squad, made up of teammates Diane Ventling, Clint Fredenberg, Scott Ferreira and Brian Strand, combined for a final-round 16-under 128 Tuesday at the par-72 Spyglass Hill to come in at 32-under 254, good enough for a four-shot win over runner-up Dragons GC. Scores are based on the two best net scores of a four-person team.
Dragons GC shot a final-round 125 to finish at 258.
Three teams – Golden Bay GC, Judge Smails Memorial GC and Metro Golf Addix GC – finished T-3 at 264. Golden Bay GC won the card-off to claim third place.
