After combining for an opening 64 at the Greater San Antonio Four-Ball, Luke Antonelli and Braden Graham had a comfortable three-shot lead on the field. After coming back with 63 at Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas, they had left the field completely in the dust.
Antonelli and Graham combined for a 17-under total in the event, taking home the trophy on Feb. 11 in the 36-hole event. Their second-round score was at least five shots better than any other team, and their total left them nine shots ahead of the next-best team.
Chase Clayton and Brett Nichols were second at 8 under after rounds of 67-69. Jacob Davis and Seth Johnson were right behind them at 6 under. A group of three teams tied for fourth after that at 4 under.
In the senior division, the only team to go under par – Craig Hall and Pat Youngs – ended up taking home the title. The pair closed with a 1-under 71 to reach 3 under for the weekend and a five-shot victory.
Shelly Harden and Launa Crites won the women’s division with their 6-over total.
