VALENCIA, Calif. (Nov. 26, 2018) – Bill Barry prevailed Monday in the senior division of the one-day SCGA Tournament of Club Champions, posting a 1-under 71 to clip three players by a shot.

Barry started on No. 2 at Red Hill Country Club and birdied his last hole – No. 1 – to get the title. Behind Barry, Bill Borden, Les Farmer and Mark Nikeas all finished at even par.

There were two past champions in the field, and one of them was part of a two-man tie for fifth. That was Craig Calkins, the 2015 winner. He finished with 1-over 73.

Craig Steinberg, who won in 2017 and 2013, was part of a four-way tie for 13th at 4-over 76.
