The Iron Bowl meets the Links at the SEC Championship

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA (April 28, 2018) - On Sunday at Sea Island Golf Club's Seaside Course the Iron Bowl will meet the links. After a long day of golf the SEC Championship will come down to a battle between four-seed Auburn and six-seed Alabama.
Auburn advanced to the finals with a 3-2 win over the five-seed Arkansas in the quarterfinals and a 4-1 triumph against top-seed LSU in the semifinals.
In the semifinals LSU advanced on the strength of four 1 up victories. The points came from Jovan Rebula, Trace Crowe, Brandon Mancheno and Ryan Knop.
For Alabama their wins came over third-seeded Vanderbilt 3-2 in the quarterfinals and second-seed Florida 3-1-1 in the semifinals. Florida took the first match of the final four tilt but Alabama won three of the next four matches with full points coming from Davis Riley (4&3), Davis Shore (1 up) and Jonathan Hardee (3&2).
The title match will begin at 7:30 a.m. EST on Sunday:
7:30 a.m. - Jovan Rebula (Auburn) vs. Lee Hodges (Alabama)
7:40 a.m. - Trace Crowe (Auburn vs. Davis Riley (Alabama)
7:50 a.m. - Ryan Knop (Auburn) vs. Davis Shore (Alabama)
8:00 a.m. - Brandon Mancheno (Auburn) vs. Wilson Furr (Alabama)
8:10 a.m. - Wells Padgett (Auburn) vs. Jonathan Hardee (Alabama)
