SEABROOK ISLAND, SC (March 21, 2018) - Mike Gravley and Todd Webber are victorious at the 25th Annual South Carolina Four-Ball Championship after defeating the teams of Jim Burgess & Frank Ford, III and Stan Sill & Tim Pope in a three hole playoff.
Even with winds constantly gusting throughout the day, Gravley & Webber began their day on fire, accumulating birdies on five of the first eight holes before bogies on holes 9 & 10. They quickly composed themselves to finish their round with all pars for the last 8 holes to help join the playoff contention with a final round score of 3 under par 69. After battling through three playoff holes, the duo became victorious with a birdie from Gravley.
This victory marks the second SCGA Senior Four-Ball Championship for Gravley, as he won the championship back in 2011, and the first for Webber.
Michael Teem and Joe Roller teamed up to shoot a two under par score of 70 to win the First Flight. In the Second Flight, there was a four-way tie for first between the teams of Jim Eskew & Doug Smith, John Easterling & Steve Fuller, Bob Kinsey & Nelson Raimondo, and Marion Moore & Frank Wrenn with each team respectively having even par rounds of 72.

With the emphasis on lower handicapped seniors,
the
SCGA was allowed more freedom to move the Senior
Four Ball across the State and the ability set up
more
challenging venues for the players looking for
stronger competition. Not to cut all players out of
the
opportunity to win something, the SCGA flights the
