Christian Anderson fires 63 to take Oglethorpe Inv. Lead

SAVANNAH, GA (July 28, 2017) - How low can you go? Well the answer on Friday was 8-under 63 and the player answering the question was Christian Anderson.
The stellar round has propelled the Florida Southern junior to 11-under and three-strokes in front of first round leader Greyson Porter with one day remaining at the Oglethorpe Invitational hosted by Wilmington Island Club.
Anderson, who tied for 17th at the NCAA Division II Championship this year, began his second round three shots off the pace following a 3-under 68 before moving in front with his Friday tally.
Porter (Florida State) is in solo second place at 11-under, Grant Renegar (Florida Gulf Coast) is third at 9-under, Michael Lee is fourth at 8-under while Zach McLain and Trey Wren (Temple) are 7-under in a tie for fifth.
