Belk-Sheats hold First Round Georgia Four-Ball Lead

ALPHARETTA, GA (April 28, 2017) - Jeff Belk of Marietta and Robert Sheats of Atlanta combine for a 10-under-par 61 in round one to lead the Georgia Four-Ball Championship. The 46th edition of this event is taking place at The Golf Club of Georgia, April 28-30.
Belk and Sheats together recorded an eagle on the 515-yard par 5 fifth hole and nine birdies on Friday. Two strokes back is the tandem of Bob Royak of Alpharetta and Josh Upton of Suwanee at 8-under-par 63. Two teams sit in third at 7-under-par 64, including Bill Paiter of Jefferson/Thomas Whitley of Hoschton and Mike Nance of Calhoun/David Noll, Jr., of Dalton.
Two-time Georgia Four-Ball Champions from Columbus, Jason Fober and Cason Hammock, finished round one at 2-under-par 69.
