Adam Horton captures Chatmoss Invitational

MARTINSVILLE, VA (April 2, 2017) -- With rounds of 72-70 Adam Horton tallied a score of 142 to win the Chatmoss Invitational. The victory for Horton was a slim one over John Rosenstock (74-69--143) who charged hard on Sunday.
Horton has been a consistent performer over the years at the Eastern Amateur placing inside the top-10 five-times in the last six years. His best finish was a tied for second showing in 2012.
Third place at Chatmoss Country Club was taken by Jon Hurst (75-69--144) while Jerry Wood (77-68--145) and Steve Liebler (73-72--75) shared fourth.
Defending champion Keith Decker (75-73--148) settled for a tied seventh finish.
In the Senior Division Phil Mahone (74-70--144) was able to outlast Rich Buckner (75-69--144) on the second playoff hole.
Scott Riesenweaver (74-71--145) finished one-stroke out of the playoff in third as Jim Wright (73-73--146), Patrick Brady (74-72--146), Gus Barber (78-68--146) shared fourth.
