(January 2, 2017) -- In a weekend where playoffs were the norm it was Texas A&M junior Cameron Champ hoisting the final trophy of 2016 at the Patriot All-America.

At the Orlando International Amateur Hugo Bernard earned the title in a playoff while in the Women's Division Ohio State's Jessica Porvasnik reigned supreme.

In yet another playoff SMU's Brigitte Dunne captured the Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle. Her win marked the second straight year that an SMU Mustang had won the title after Kenzie Wright won a year ago.

At the World Stars of Amateur Golf Jesse Yap of Cal Poly and USC's Victoria Morgan won the championships.

In team action Ethan Freeman (Colorado) and Jake Staiano (Colorado State) claimed the Saguaro Team championship with a flawless 36-holes of golf.

The final weekend of the year also featured two junior tournaments. First it was A.J. Beechler and Gracyn Burgess winning titles at the Donald Ross Junior and then it was Karl Vilips and Somi Lee earning championships at the Junior Orange Bowl International.
