Mal Makin claimed the American Seniors Stroke Play
PALM BEACH, FL (December 14, 2016) -- Mal Makin of Charlestown, RI escaped the New England cold and used rounds of 80-75-81 to finish at 236 and 10-strokes ahead of runner-up Bonita Springs, FL resident Brad Peete (82-83-81--246) and win the American Seniors Stroke Play hosted by The Breakers Ocean Course.
Mike Howell (West Fargo, ND) was a distant third at 85-86-82--253, Bill Martin (Palm Coast, FL) was fourth at 82-88-84--254 while Donald Meyer (Washington DC) was fifth after the following tallies 84-82-89--255.
