Ben Peters Claims Santa Rosa City Championship
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (October 23, 2016) -- Redwood City native Ben Peters captured the 2016 Santa Rosa City Sunday at Bennett Valley and Oakmont golf courses.
Peters fired rounds of 70 and 71 for a weekend total of 141 (3-under) which was 1 shot better than Chad VenderDussen and Stephen Santora. Peters can add the win to his recent list of accomplishments which includes a semifinal appearance at this year's San Francisco City Championship and qualifying for the U.S. Mid-Am.
Nicholas Daniels finished 4th after rounds of 73 and 70 while Kyle Hopkins rounded out the top five with rounds of 69 and 75. The senior division was won by Robert Blair with rounds of 73 and 75.
