Cody Burrows is Oklahoma Open low-amateur

EDMOND, OK (August 21, 2016) -- Cody Burrows was the only amateur to finish in red figures at the Oklahoma Open at Oak Tree Country Club. Burrows finished tied for 12th and 1-under after three rounds of play.
The best round of the week for Burrows came on Saturday when he put together a round of 2-under 68. The Oral Roberts sophomore birdied five holes and bogeyed three during the round.
Burrows, who was a 2016 All-Summit League performer, fired rounds of 70-71 during the remainder of the week.
Michael Balcar won the Oklahoma Open by five-stroke with a 12-under tally.

established USGA Handicap Index of 5.0 or
less.
Qualifying is required for those who do not
meet the
exemption criteria. Format is 54 holes of stroke

with a cut to the low 40 and ties after 36 holes.
