Philip Bootsma wins Dutch Men's Amateur
VALKENSWAARD, Netherlands (August 14, 2016) -- Philip Bootsma of the Netherlands picked up his second win of the season on Sunday as he finished 13-under and won the Dutch Men's Amateur at Eindhovensche Golf Club.

Just a month after winning the Luxembourg Men's International Amateur Bootsma put together rounds of 65-69-67-74 to win by one-stroke over Raphael Geissler of Germany.

Bootsma's best round of the week was his 7-under 65 on the first day. The native of the Netherlands came storming out of the gates with an eagle-birdie-birdie start to start 4-under through three holes. Following a 11 straight pars Bootsma closed with three birdies in his final four holes.

During the final round Bootsma birdied two, bogeyed two and recorded a double-bogey. It was Bootsma only over-par round of the week.

German's Ruben van Uden (-10) and Marcel Zillekens (-8) finished in third and fourth place.

Lars Keunen of the Netherlands and German tied for fifth at 5-under.
