Dave Maddox takes George Senior Invitational

STOCKBRIDGE, GA (May 18, 2016) - It has been an impressive start to the year for David Maddox of McDonough, GA. Maddox recently finished tied for fifth at the Golfweek Senior National Championship and now he was a win as well. After shooting an opening round 73 Maddox settled down and shot 67-68 to win the Georgia Senior Invitational by six-strokes with a 54-hole total of 208.
Playing at Eagle's Landing Country Club Maddox trailed after the first round but was able to lock in over the next 36-holes and win by a comfortable margin. Bill Leonard finished in second six behind while Alan Thielemann was third and Robert Parmar was fourth. Bob Levy and Mark Benefield tied for fifth.
In the Super Senior Division Robert Hess ran away from the field winning by five and in the Legends Division Earl Daniell won by two-strokes.

Senior - Age 55-64, Super Senior - Age 65-69,
Legend - Age 70 and above
