Jonny Hogan wins Lompoc City in Playoff

LOMPOC, CA (April 17, 2016)--In a playoff Jonny Hogan (70-77--147) found his way into the winners circle defeating Jesse Yap (71-76--147). In a day where much of the field struggled Hogan was able to survive and win the Lompoc City Amateur Championship played at La Purisima Golf Course.
Hogan was able to overcome his demons from last years Lompoc City when he lost in a playoff to 2014 SCGA Mid-Amateur winner Ramie Sprinkling.
Three players, Cole Nygren (73-75--148), Jerry Ledzinski (73-75--148) and Nicholas Engelhardt (74-74--148) all finished in a third place tie.

Individual 36-hole gross and net stroke play
competition open to all amateur golfers. Limited to
the
first 90 entries. Net competitors must have a valid
USGA handicap. Entry fee includes green fees for
both
days, prize fund and Sunday barbecue.
