Palm Beach International: Robert Floyd overcomes 6-shot deficit

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (April 10, 2016)--Robert Floyd captured the 2016 Palm Beach Invitational coming from behind in the final round. In the stableford style event at the PGA National Golf Club Floyd posted two day scores of 32-44 for a winning total of 76.
Floyd (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) began the second round six behind leader Will Davenport (Fort Lauderdale, FL) but was able to overcome the deficit and win by five. Davenport finished in second place after a 38-33--71 tally.
Ryan Mason (Delay Beach, FL) 37-31--68 and Bradley Gray (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) 32-36--68 finished T3. Justin Goodhue (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) 37-29--66 rounded out the top-5 in fifth.
The stableford scoring system awards 1 point for bogey, 2 points for par, 4 points for birdie and 6 points for eagle.
