Kyle Michel up four at Dunes Medal in Australia

RYE, Victoria — A second-round 67 has given Kyle Michel a sizable lead at the halfway point of the Dunes Medal. James Grierson, at 71-72, sits in second place four strokes back.
Michel trailed first-round leader David Micheluzzi by three shots, but shot the tournament's lowest score thus far in round two to surge into the lead. Micheluzzi struggled on day two, shooting 78 and dropping back into a tie for seventh place.
Thomas Coulding posted a pair of 72s and sits in third place while Simon Viitakangas, Travis Sharpe, and William Heffernan are tied for fourth at 146.
