Defending champions leading by three at Chanticleer National Four-Ball

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The winners of the inaugural event are back on top in 2015 at the Chanticleer National Four-Ball Invitational as Blair Scurlock and Will Dennis posted a bogey-free 64 at Greenville Country Club on Friday.
The pair lead by three over Tee Opperman and Lee Taylor thanks to four consecutive birdies to complete the round at the property's Chanticleer Course. Opperman and Taylor finished on a good note, as well, birdieing their final three holes of round one.
Three teams are tied for third place at 4-under par 68, including Todd Hendley and Ron Clontz, Wesley Harden and Buddy Davis, and Duff Wagner and Dennis Schwab.
Thirty-six holes remain at this 54-hole best-ball stroke play invitational.
