Field set for amateurgolf.com Monterey Bay Championship
Seaside, California
CARLSBAD, CA (May 21, 2005) -- amateurgolf.com today announced the field and pairings for the 5th Annual Monterey Bay Championship at Bayonet Black Horse in Seaside.
The tournament, which was the first tournament founded by amateurgolf.com, is now in it's fifth year. NCGA points are awarded to players from Northern California in the Championship and Senior Division. (Senior Players must be 55 years old to earn points)
Bayonet Black Horse are known as two of the toughest courses on the Monterey Peninsula, and the state for that matter. The courses have length, trees that have been known to 'eat' golf balls, and greens that often reach the speeds required to host PGA Tour events, which Bayonet Black Horse does more than once each year. The courses currently host the PGA Champions Tour First Tee Classic and the Nationwide Tour's Monterey Peninsula Classic, as well as stage two of the PGA Tour qualifying tournament.
PAIRINGS are now available for Saturday, May 28--
