SEASIDE, Calif. — Daniel Semmler of Belmont, Calif. capped off an impressive week at the Northern California Open, earning low amateur honors and finishing in a tie for fourth place.

Semmler followed up his stellar opening round 66 with a pair of 1-under par 71s to finish at 8-under par total and four shots behind the eventual winner, Xander Schauffele, who finished his senior year at San Diego State in May.
