Denmark's Emil Soegaard wins Biarritz Cup in France

BIARRITZ, France — The Biarritz Cup was won by Denmark's Emil Soegaard on Sunday in France. The University of Arkansas sophomore shot a final round 66 at the par-69 to edge Nicolas Platret of France.
Platret, who also plays collegiate in America, shot 64 in the final round to slide into the second-place position. The Frenchman will be a sophomore in the fall at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
Alfie Plant of England grabbed third place just two shots back, shooting 63 and 66 in the final two rounds.
