On another windy day with cool temperatures, Todd Hendley and Duff Wagner shot a final round low score of four under par 68 for a two day total of 135 to win the South Carolina Senior Four Ball Championship held on the Ralston Creek Course at Daniel Island.
Hendley and Wagner started the day trailing day one leaders, Matt Grandy and Jackson Hughes, by two shots but managed to cut that lead to one after nine holes. After trading pars on holes 10 and 11, a Wagner birdie on the 185 yard par three 12th hole put the Upstate duo tied atop the leaderboard.
Once again the two teams went back and forth matching each other on holes 13 and 14, but a clutch birdie putt by Wagner on the short par three 15th hole proved to be the deciding factor. Capped by another Wagner birdie on the final hole, the first time Senior Four Ball Champions claimed the 2015 title by one shot with a tournament total of 135.
Winning the First Flight were Defending Champions, Bill Palmer and Bill Smunk with a score of 142. Robby Bennett and Joe Fairey took the top honors in the Second Flight with a score of 148.

ABOUT THE
South Carolina Senior Four-Ball
The SCGA Senior Four Ball Championship began in
1994 as an opportunity for individuals over the age
of 55 to have a true partners Championship.
With the emphasis on lower handicapped seniors,
the
SCGA was allowed more freedom to move the Senior
Four Ball across the State and the ability set up
more
challenging venues for the players looking for
stronger competition. Not to cut all players out of
the
opportunity to win something, the SCGA flights the
field after the first round to give everyone a sporting
chance for a victory of some kind.
