Brennan, Christovich defend National Senior-Junior title
Patrick Christovich
JUPITER, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2015) — In an event which features some of the nation's top mid-amateur and senior talent, Tommy Brennan and Patrick Christovich took home the National Senior-Junior title for the second consecutive year.
The team play has players take part in different formats each round, including Best-Ball on Monday, Alternate Shot on Tuesday, and Scramble on Wednesday.
The duo from Louisiana won the event by a stroke over Texan Steve Harwell and North Carolina's Scott Harvey, who won the 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur.
Brennan and Christovich scrambled their way to a final-round 61 to overtake Harwell and Harvey, who lead the tournament by one entering Wednesday's round at The Dye Preserve in Jupiter, Fla.
Finishing just two shots behind in third place were Steve Anderson and Pete Williams.
