Two tied for lead at Patriot All-America

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (Dec. 29, 2014) — Kolton Crawford, a junior at the University of Arkansas, and Damon Salo, a senior at Johnson & Wales University, have posted two-under par rounds of 68 at the Gold Course at Wigwam Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. to have a share of the 18-hole lead at the Patriot All-America Tournament.
The 54-hole stroke play event is playing host to some of the best collegiate talent in the country, including Oregon freshman Aaron Wise, Kennesaw State junior Jimmy Beck, and University of Washington sophomore Corey Periera.
Wise is tied for fifth at even par, Beck three shots back at one-over in a tie for seventh place, and Periera, who won the 2014 Pacific Coast Amateur, is tied for 15th at two-over 72.
At one-under par are Jose Mendez, a sophomore from the Univiersity of Minnesota, and Josh Seiple, a freshman at Ole Miss.

America team in NCAA Division I,II and III, NAIA

NJCAA, AJGA, one player from each military
academy
and select international players compete in a 54-
hole
championship.
Each player honors our military by carrying a bag
with
the name, rank and service of a fallen or severely
wounded soldier embroidered on the pocket.
Following
the championship, the bags go to the players’ school
for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Folds of
Honor.
