Michael Teague, Robby Kirby lead Carolina Invitational with 63
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2014) — Opening the Carolina Four-Ball Invitational with a 63 at Carolina Golf Club were Michael Teague and Robby Kirby as they lead the rest of the field, including the defending champions, by three shots after day one.
Stephen Woodard and Brett Boner, the 2013 champions, posted 66 and are tied for second place with three other teams.
David Boyce/Robert Burrow, Henry Shimp/Michael Meyer, and Mayson Petty and Justin Livonius also carded 66's and are three shots back.
Four other teams are tied for sixth at 67 while five more teams are tied for tenth at 68.
The Carolina Four-Ball Invitational attracts the strongest field of any Carolinas Golf Association event and gives Carolina Golf Club the opportunity to showcase one of the finest Donald Ross courses in the country.

and the Champions tours. The field of 44 teams will
be selected by
playing resume and past exemption list.
In 2023, the format changed from best-ball to two-
man modified Stableford.
