Rick Woulfe takes two-shot lead into SOS Championship final round

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2014) — After jumping out to a three-shot lead at Quail Ridge Country Club on day one with a 68, Rick Woulfe remained steady in the second round to move into Thursday's final round with a two lead at the Society of Seniors Championship.
At 139, Woulfe, of Ft. Lauderdale, leads Bob Stephens of Indianapolis by two and Bob Allshouse of Greensburg, Pa. by five.
Woulfe took fourth at the 2013 Dixie Senior Amateur while Stephens has two top-fives in 2014 — the Jones Cup Senior and Lupton Senior.
In the Super Senior (John Owens) division, Dick Lockwood of London, Ontario trailed first-round leader Jim Anthony by four shots entering Wednesday's second round but bounced back with a 71 to own a slim one-shot lead with 18 holes remaining.
Joe Hacker, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., posted the lowest round of the second round, a 70, and is one shot back of Lockwood. Anthony, along with Earl Daniell and Michael Rose are tied for third at 148.
In the Grand Masters (75+) division, Bill Robischon of Tequesta, Fla. (147) leads Harry Cain by three shots.
The Senior and Grand Master divisions are playing Quail Ridge's South course while the Super Seniors are on the North course.
