Troy Moses cruises to seven-shot win at Keperra Bowl
Troy Moses
KEPERRA, Australia (Oct. 17, 2014) — Troy Moses entered the final round of the Keperra Bowl with a commanding eight-shot lead. He got off on the right track in Friday's final round when he eagled the first hole.
The Queensland native who now lives in Sydney cruised to a seven-stroke win over the defending champion Taylor MacDonold. Moses's final round 69 came on the heels of a tournament-low round of 63 on Thursday which helped him jump into such a large and comfortable lead.
MacDonald was consistently solid in his attempt to go back-to-back at Keperra Country Golf Club, shooting four straight rounds in the 60's, but Moses's third-round 63 was ultimately the difference.
Cory Crawford placed third, one shot behind MacDonald. New Zealander Josh Munn finished alone in fourth place while Mitchell Smith rounded out the top-five.
