White leads Charlotte City by a stroke entering final round
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 23, 2014) — Peyton White fired the tournament's lowest round in Friday's opening round, then followed with 73 on Saturday but still leads the Charlotte City Amateur by a shot.

Entering the final round, White leads three players who are just a stroke behind. Joe Jaspers, Davidson University sophomore Andy Simmons, and former VCU golfer Chase Sargent sit at 138.

Sargent, and Barry Dyche in fifth, shot the low rounds of the day — 69.

The field will play the renowned Quail Hollow Golf Club in Sunday's final round.
