Amateur Kolton Crawford one back at Texas State Open

LEWISVILLE, TX (August 1, 2014) — Amateur Kolton Crawford of Mansfield, Texas fired a second-round 64 to inch closer to leader Anthony Broussard at the Texas State Open.
Crawford, a University of Arkansas redshirt junior, is in sole second place heading into the weekend. Crawford carded two eagles, five birdies and one bogey during Friday's round.
Crawford has been low amateur at this event two consecutive years.
Andrew Cornella of University of Texas-Arlington is the only other amateur in contention as his second-round 65 shot him into the top-10, seven shots back.
