Tennant Cup: McDougall storms back for title
Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland (June 23, 2014) -- Alasdair McDougall fired a final-round 66 to claim a two-shot victory at the 2014 Tennant Cup at Glasgow Golf Club.
McDougall's closing round catapulted him to the top of the leaderboard where he hung on to top Adam Dunton by two shots despite a solid final-round 69.
Ben Ferguson shot 72-71-69-72 to tie for second place alongside McDougall.
Scott Borrowman fired a final-round 69 to sneak into the Top 5.
The Competition is played over 72 holes of stroke play, with the first 36 holes being played over the Club’s links course at Glasgow Gailes on the Saturday, and the leading 40 players playing the final 36 holes over the Club’s parkland course at Killermont.
