Kansas Four-Ball: Hanna, Foth take top seed
LAWRENCE, Kan. (June 6, 2014) -- Stroke play qualifying is complete in the 26th Kansas Four-Ball Championship at Alvamar Golf Course in Lawrence. In the Open Division, Chase Hanna and Jackson Foth took medalist honors at 13-under par 131.
The top 16 teams made the cut in the Open Division at the score of 4-under par 140 total. In the Masters Division, two Alvamar member teams of Richard Stuntz/Bob Bezek and Michael Rack/Dane Ogden tied for low honors at 7-under par 137 total.
The qualifying score for the top eight teams in match play in the Masters Division was even par 144.
Match play will get underway on Saturday morning at 7:30 am with the Open Division going first. Teams that win their opening match Saturday morning will play again on Saturday afternoon.
