Arizona Mid-Am: Tanigawa goes low on moving day
PEORIA, Ariz. (May 30, 2014) — Ken Tanigawa made four birdies en route to a two-under par 70 today at Quintero Golf and Country Club.
No one else shot lower than 74 in the second round, and Tanigawa will tee off in the final round with a three-stroke margin over the field.
Tom Sweigart sits in second place after consecutive 76s, and Patrick Geare is in third with two 77s.
Defending champion and first round leader Kristoffer Marshall followed up his 73 with a tough 82, which included a quadruple-bogey 8 on the seventh hole of the day. He is tied for fourth at 155, six strokes back of Tanigawa.
