OOLTEWAH, Tennessee (May 24, 2014) -- Robert Gerwin of Cincinnati posted an even par round today in round 2, for a 36-hole total of 141, 3-under par. Gerwin, who started the day tied with Kenny Cook of Indiana, will take a four stroke lead into the final round (over Cook, who fired 76 for a 2-round total of 145). Another shot back at 146 is 2013 US Mid Amateur champ Mike McCoy. McCoy posted 75 on Saturday.
SENIOR/SUPER SENIOR
Paul Simson of North Carolina posted 37 Stableford Points on top of the 41 he had in round 1 for a 78 point 36-hole total. Simson is 7 ahead of Bob Stephens.
In the Super Senior division Ted Smith posted 31 points for a total of 70; that's 3 in front of Don Marsh. Another shot back is Bob Currey.
