Alabama Senior: Hudson rolls to 8-shot win
SELMA, Ala. (May 18, 2014) -- Steve Hudson shot a final-round 67 to close out a dominant run at the 17th annual Alabama Senior Amateur.
At Selma Country Club, Hudson posted scores of 69-72-67 to finish eight shots ahead of runner-up Robert Nelso (70-72-74).
Hudson's pace kept him as the lone competitor to finish under par.
Mike Greer took third place.
In the Super Senior Division, Emile Vaughan also won easily. He shot 78-72-70 to win by eight shots.
Robert Parmar, Tom Jingkind, Tom Davis and William Bermieier all tied for second.
Steve Schwartzer won the Legends Division, shooting 76-74-77 to win by three shots.

Must be a resident of the state of Alabama to enter.
54 holes of gross individual stroke play. Players in
the 50-56 and 57-64 Age Divisions will play the
championship tees and
eligible to win the overall Championship. 65+ Age
Division plays a shorter set of tees and ineligible for
the overall
Championship.
After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 48
players and ties in the Championship Division and
the low 12 players and ties
in the 65+ Division.
