SUGAR GROVE, Ill. (May 16, 2014) -- Under blistery conditions with temperatures in the 40s, the second round finally got underway from Rich Harvest Farms following a 2.5 hour rain delay. When it was all said and done, Sam Love shot a 72 to power UAB in Round 2 of the NCAA Men's Division I golf Central Regional.

UAB maintains their lead and will enter the final-round of the 54-hole regional with a one-shot lead over Illinois.

In addition to Love's 72, UAB also received solid efforts from Paul Dunne (73) and Martin Rohwer (74).

Illinois was again paced by Brian Williams, who shot a 70 to keep his distance in the individual race.
