Long Beach Senior: Levitt keeps share of lead
LONG BEACH, Calif. (May 16, 2014) -- After two rounds at the Long Beach Senior, Jon Levitt still has a share of the lead. After Friday's second day of play, however, he's got a new co-leader.
Levin shot 71 on Thursday and remains atop the leaderboard next to Doug Williams, who shot 70. The duo is two shots better than the field entering Friday's final round.
Bruce Loman, who shared the lead with Levitt after Round 1, is tied for fifth place. After a first-round 70, he shot 76.
Tom Seidl (Flight A), Brett Latham (Flight B), Rob Rendon (Flight C), Doug Peterson (Flight D), Tom Lee (Flight E) and Mas Matsumoto (Flight F) also hold flight leads after two rounds.
The event, a 54-hole stroke-play tournament, is part of the Long Beach Golf Festival and garners a popular following and loaded field.
The event is played at Recreation Park Golf Club, El Dorado Park Golf CLub and Skylinks Golf Course.

play for players aged 50+ with Championship, Senior
(4 age-based flights of equivalent size) and
Classic Senior (75+) flights, with net and gross
prizes. Must have a one-year established handicap
and 12-month LI (Low Index) to qualify for net score
awards. Gross awards within age-based flights do
not require an established handicap.
