TRINITY, Texas (April 27, 2014) -- Texas stormed back to win the 2014 Big 12 Championship Sunday at Whispering Pines Golf Club.

Texas received a final-round 72 from both Brax McCarthy and Gavin Hall and received solid rounds from Beau Hossler (74) and Toni Hakula (73) to edge the Raiders by three shots.
Oklahoma State, behind stellar final rounds from Talor Gooch (67) and Jordan Niebrugge (68) slid into third place on the final day.
TCU's Julien Brun won the individual crown, firing 74-71-66-66 to win by an impressive nine shots over runner-up Sam Daley of Iowa State.
Brun’s score marks the lowest Whispering Pines course score and second lowest score in Big 12 championship history.
