Indiana Senior Team: Vlasic, Wilson hang on
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (April 18, 2014) -- The final round may not have started the way they hoped it would but for Dave Vlasic and Cortie Wilson, the final day at the Indiana Golf Association Senior Team Championship ended just fine.

Vlasic and Wilson endured a triple bogey on the par-4 third hole to win the title.

"We were a little bit upset after the triple on three, but it ended up making us focus more,” Wilson told the IGA. "We didn’t let it affect the rest of our round.”

The round would go on to include five birdies, totaling 5-under for the tournament.

Skip Runnels and Terry Warner took solo second place, finishing a shot back at 4-under.

On No. 18, Vlasic drained a tricky six-foot par putt to keep the one-shot distance they entered the hole win. For Vlasic, it was his second IGA Senior title after winning last year's Senior Match Play Championship.

Chris Decker of Fishers and teammate Rick Langdon of Cloverdale finished alone in third with a 1-under-par finish.
