Duncan Putter: Mullen wins with strong weekend
BRIGEND, Wales (April 13, 2014) -- Jimmy Mullen shot rounds of 76-70-67-69 to win the 2014 Duncan Putter Championship at Southerndown Golf Club.
Mullen's weekend 67-69 separated him from the field and runner-up Eugene Smith, who shot 72-71-70-72.
Adam Chapman of Windermere shot 69-72-70-75 to take solo third, four back of the winner.
The Duncan Putter is the first of the Welsh Order of Merit events and gives International and Walker Cup selectors a chance to assess early season form. The format is 72 holes of stroke play played in two days.
