Masters 2014: Goss shoots 3rd-round 76
Oliver Goss
AUGUSTA, Ga. (APril 12, 2014) -- Oliver Goss, the lone amateur left in the field, shot a third-round 76 at The Masters.
The U.S. Amateur runner-up endured two double-bogeys and recorded birdies on the par-5 2nd and par-5 13th in his Saturday round.
Goss, from Australia but currently playing at the University of Tennessee, shot a 1-under 71 on Friday to slip under the cut-line but couldn't duplicate the magic in the third round.
Still, Goss will walk away from the 2014 Masters with low amateur honors and the Silver Cup.
