After Round 1, the teams of Joyner and New and Paul Quigley and Michael Soucy had shared the lead with Allen and Smith. Quigley and Soucy struggled with a second-round 74 and are six off the pace.
Two-time defending champions Alan Fadel and Jim Smith are four back after rounds of 69-69.
In the Super Senior flight, Charles Bagby and Peter Roby are a shot up on Peter Jacobi and Frank Guise thanks to two terrific rounds to start the event. The leaders shot 65 on Monday and followed with a second-round 67.
