Utah Winterchamps: Blair holds lead

Zac Blair, Kirk Siddens, and Sue Nyhus grabbed the first round lead in their respective divisions

SAINT GEORGE, Utah (March 16, 2014) -- Zac Blair, Kirk Siddens, and Sue Nyhus grabbed the first round lead in their respective divisions of the UGA Winterchamps Tournament being played on three courses in the St. George area. The tournament concludes Sunday. Blair shot a 47 at Coral Canyon to lead the Men’s Division, Siddens shot a 39 at Bloomington CC to lead the Senior Division, and Nyhus shot 33 at Sun River to lead the Women’s Division. The tournament is being played under the Modified Stableford Scoring System that awards points on each hole and in this system the highest score wins instead of the lowest score.
