Granite Bay Four-Ball: Peterson, Dunn take title
GRANITE BAY, Calif. (March 10, 2014) -- Jon Peterson and Gary Dunn shot rounds of 64-67--131 to win with ease at the 2014 Granite Bay Four-Ball Championship at Granite Bay Golf Club.
The winning duo was nine shots better than John Hayes and Dave Koski, who took runner-up honors after a 71-69 effort.
Peterson and Gary DeBlaquiere combined to win the inaugural event in 2012.
Jeff Hoffman and Michael Lee rounded out the Top 3, shooting 70-72.
In the Senior Division, Steve Fate and Steve Schroeder prevailed by a shot.
After making a deep run at the San Francisco City Senior, Schroeder teamed up with Fate to shoot 72-67 to take the Senior crown over Craig Gandy and Jeff Sousa (71-69).
The event is a 36-hole better-ball played at scratch and awards NCGA and NCGA Senior Points.
