Cal rolls to 22-shot win at MacKenzie Invitational

SONOMA, Calif. – No. 4 Cal (268-273-284 – 825, -39) closed out its third consecutive dominating victory Tuesday with a 22-stroke victory at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational the Golden Bears co-hosted with San Francisco at the Sonoma Golf Club. Cal has won its last three events by a combined total of 61 strokes. Joël Stalter (64-69-70 – 203, -13) earned individual medalist honors for the third time in his career, finishing one shot ahead of Oregon State’s David Fink (69-67-68 – 204, -12).
Cal’s Pace Johnson (66-68-71 – 205, -11) and Brandon Hagy (70-64-72 – 206, -10) finished third and tied for fourth.
