Max Buckley wins Nassau Invitational
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (Oct. 6, 2013) -- Max Buckley prevailed over runner-up Cormac Sharvin to win the 2013 Nassau Invitational at Nassau Country Club.
Buckley knocked off Stebbins in Sunday's semifinal before beating Sharvin in the championship match.
Ed Gibstein won the Senior Division, beating Don Enga in the championship match.
First played in 1897, the Nassau is arguably the oldest amateur golf event in the country and attracts one of the finest fields with players boasting some of very impressive amateur golf résumés.
